If you are leaving a cannabis retail job, how much more likely are you to be pulled over?

  • That is silly! You are no more likely to be pulled over!
  • 20% more likely than other drivers
  • 50% more likely than other drivers
  • 75% more likely than other drivers

I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of this being an issue before. I imagine it’s possible depending on where the location is and general opinion of the industry there, but most retail locations don’t have a set time that they have to be closed by like bars, so I’d imagine it’s much more difficult and unlikely that police would be out for retail cannabis workers specifically. I could definitely be wrong, but I don’t think this would approach anywhere near 20% more likely.

The answer is 20-25% based on figures in Washington and Colorado. I did not think it would an issue either until I opened an office near an Air Force Base with 3 retail cannabis shops in the neighborhood.
