Cannabis / weed / marijuana? What terms should you be using in a professional setting?
Cannabis / weed / marijuana? What terms should you be using in a professional setting? Also, what terms do you use in a personal setting with friends or when purchasing? I've transitioned to mostly using the word 'cannabis'
In a professional setting, I always say "cannabis" or just simply refer to it as a plant once i realize we're both on the same page in the conversation. Personally I say "weed" or "wax" when referring to concentrates or flower.
I work in the industry and at work we verbally call it weed and in writing, cannabis. But we're also a large facility so we will usually use the word for the stage of processing - flower, hash, distillate - and refer to things as infused or non-infused. Outside of work, definitely weed. In interviews or a professional setting, cannabis.
