What makes a brand exciting for you to try?

Branding and Marketing

For me it's branding/packaging and then what the origin story of the cannabis is (or scientific innovation). Don't give a single shit about celebrity endorsements but I know that's a big deal for others. What gets you amped to try out a new brand?

Hey Matt! Geat question. I totally agree with your stance on celebrity endorsements for brands. To me, they rarely seem authentic or genuine. I think I am more drawn to brands that focus on creating a story or really emphasize what makes their product different from the rest! Cool packaging is always a bonus for me too.

100% branding and packaging design. That's how I buy wine!

Right there with you Geoffrey, completely the branding and packaging for me. If it catches my eye, there is a big chance I'll want to give it a try. I'm a sucker for good marketing! For example, at Hall of Flowers, King's Garden caught my eye right away with their gold shimmer - made me think of Harry Potter's quidditch snitch! Product was excellent to top it off! :)

I needs to be "slappy"

I like when brands show their terpene percentages and/or also put their genetics as well. It’s also great when they put sundoor/vs indoor as well. Anyways, mainly just being more informative rather than something so extravagant because all I care about is the flower itself.

Personally, I enjoy an edu-taining package. We Gen-Xers grew up on reading cereal boxes at the table and shampoo bottles on the can. Until we got our first Walkman. Then it was Hall and Oates, Michael Jackson and LedZeppelin all day!!

At this stage Package design is critical to capture new experience seekers and grab attention upfront. Loyalty is built on brand which of course is way more than just package and logo.
