- Support all aspects of dutchie's global government affairs strategy, including evaluating risks and opportunities, setting short and long-term priorities, and using diverse tactics such as direct lobbying, thought leadership, and external partnerships to shift the public debate and advance those goals

- Reconcile funds transferred with banking partners daily, including originated and returned payments
- Assist as needed with monthly reconciliation

- Build a high performing team of Payment Operations Analysts and customer champions, including recruiting, coaching, and mentoring them on career growth.
- Design effective payment operations strategies by partnering with Product, Analytics, Compliance, Risk and Engineering counterparts, that mitigate risk and optimize ACH operations. Translate learnings into improved operating procedures and implementation of risk rules/policies.
- Own ACH daily and monthly reconciliation.
- Partner with Compliance Team to ensure compliance with audits, NACHA regulations, and all regulatory requirements.

- Understand our third party vendors and banks' road map and implications to Dutchie. Communicate appropriately any changes that will impact internal or external stakeholders.
- Stay current on the risk/fraud/payment monitoring trends and tools. Evaluate and make recommendations on build versus buy technology to continue to advance our fraud/risk monitoring capabilities.
- Design, implement, and monitor experiments and vendor performance to explore new rules and operations with a constant goal of minimizing customer impact and protecting Dutchie.
- Make recommendations for future investments to enhance our ACH operations and risk capabilities.
- Create requirements for the Product Team on data needs, frequency and channels.
- ACH Professional (AAP) accreditation, MS/MA/MBA degree is a plus.
- 5-8 years management experience in payment functions.
- Thorough understanding of banking compliance and regulatory facets of money movement including NACHA Rules and other payment regulations.
- Back office recon and/or customer facing support for payments (ACH experience required; additional payments experience such as cards or wires a plus)
- You have an understanding and experience in ACH operations, fraud strategy, operations and monitoring.

- Perform day-to-day accounting activities ensuring compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external audits.
- Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to build scalable revenue recognition processes.
- Review complex customer contracts and schedule revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP.
- Analyze and document the revenue treatment of deals to identify non-standard terms with revenue impacts.
