The primary purpose of this role is to manage and motivate a sales team by providing guidance, training and mentoring, setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales plans, analyzing data, assigning sales territories and building their team in compliance with company policy and procedure. This person will be responsible for overseeing the sales process, assisting in closing new business, and achieving personal sales quota while supporting company sales initiatives.
Success in this position requires utmost focus on hitting sales targets, strong negotiating skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and superb planning and organizational aptitude. An eagerness to work as part of a team with accountability to work independently at times is required.
