We are an entrepreneurial and growing processing company seeking a Director of Product Sales and Account Management in the herbal products industry. This position reports directly to the CEO and supervises the many facets of wholesale account and direct customer relationships and product sales for an herbal manufacturing company, Sun God Medicinals. The successful candidate will also assist us in managing a newly developed account and sales team for this consumer product line. It is our goal to produce a range of high-quality herbal compounded products that will be sold both through websites directly to consumers as well as through our existing wholesale distribution network and work to develop broker and distributor relationships nationally. Preference will be given to the candidate with applicable sales team experience in the consumer product good sales like natural foods and holistic products with further consideration given to exceptional leaders with strong management skills. We are looking for a key individual to complement and grow with our team.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
The Director will be responsible for distribution channels, sales, account management, and department financial performance at Sun God Herbals. At this early stage, the Director will have to review established procedures for various functions of the business and will be expected to perform these tasks as necessary. They must exhibit strong leadership skills, be a motivated self-starter with high standards, and have demonstrated experience developing and adhering to budget controls. The successful candidate will have proven methods of creating efficiencies, establishing processes, and maintaining consistently high quality as sales levels increase. The Director will be able to show examples of problem solving, creating and validating systems and checkpoints to drive sales, employee retention and team development, maintain relationships, compliance with regulatory agencies, and have consistently met or exceeded expectations. We are looking for a sales director with a warrior-like, entrepreneurial spirit looking to grow an artisan, craft national brand.
