Emerging leader in the cannabis industries seeks an IT Manager to serve as the leader of the IT department. The candidate must be a leader and problems solver. The IT Manager will also serve as the main point of contact with our 3rd Party IT Vendor. S/he will partner with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies to support rapid, sustained, and profitable growth of the business. S/he must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in a collaborative workplace. This will be a high paced job with lots of growth potential and therefore so should the candidate. We are looking for a "make it happen" attitude with a bias towards action and results. We are looking for a person to come in and develop the IT game plan for new locations and then work with outside vendors to implement. The candidate must have the ability to stand up an entire network and setup the relevant software and hardware without outside support. Once the boilerplate is built, they will then manage the implementation for additional locations to follow. As the Company grows, the IT Manager will build a small team.

• Oversee all IT operations including staff, infrastructure, security, and software. • Build and manage a secure, centrally managed, and scalable IT infrastructure. • Establish Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity capabilities and plans. • Develop IT security policies and breach remediation procedures. • Oversee IT security and compliance and audit. • Implement and manage technology budget and performance reports. • Interact with other departments to learn about and solve business challenges with IT solutions. • Manage global infrastructure team and provide front line support for corporate and retail employees • Provide training and mentorship for incoming IT staff. • Handle all technical ticket escalations from retail and other departments. • Vendor negotiations and contracts management.

Experience
Qualifications
• Proficient managing Office 365, Windows, and Apple devices • Proficient in network setup; access points, switches, firewall, and WAN links • Able to effectively present to and advocate for ideas with executive team • Bachelor’s degree with a business, accounting, IT, or finance concentration required. • 8+ years of experience in information technology required. • Proven ability to vet and implement systems to automate and optimize operations • 5+ years of experience in retail, restaurants and/or hospitality preferrable. • Microsoft certified professional • Knowledge of the cannabis, hospitality and restaurant industries is a plus! • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and a passion for business. • Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check. • Have no ego. You do what it takes to get a job done, you are curious and look for creative solutions to any issue • Enjoy a fast-paced, nimble environment • Have a good sense of humor and bring fun to work!
