Parallel is looking for a Processing Technician II with the skills to perform and maintain processes related to the production of final dosage forms derived from therapeutic cannabis. Therapeutic cannabis has quickly become one the most dynamic and fastest-growing industries in the United States.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Follow established Parallel and Industry best practices for production therapeutic cannabis-based products
- Responsible for daily duties related to production process of therapeutic cannabis-based products
- Comply with safety procedures and consult with department supervisor about any safety issues that may arise
- Understands daily production plan, work flow of all positions within designated area
- Maintain accurate records related to quality and compliance
- Assist in recommendations for scalable procedures as company grows
- Actively participate in training processing technicians
- Ability to operate complex production and packaging equipment
- Understands and has ability to perform tasks for all work stations within designated area
- Works closely with Lead Processing Technician to support all production, compliance, and quality initiative
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU'LL BRING
Required
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- Age 21 or over
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with quality control, policy and procedure and documentation
- Residence within the current geography or willingness to relocate to the current geography is required
- Travel as necessary (between locations)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, crouch in order to access plants
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs
- Ability to ascend/descend a ladder to service lights and fans
- Ability to wear personal protective gear during portions of the day
- Agile fingers able to perform dexterous tasks
- Exposure to bright light where eye protection is required
- Exposure to cannabis odor
- Exposure to skin contact with plants, to which some individuals may be allergic
- Exposure to moderate heat and humidity
