Packaging Associate responsibilities include operating equipment and performing tasks such as dispensing, labeling and packaging our finished product.
- Dispense accurate quantity of such product
- Position vape cartridges correctly to avoid spillsParticipate in weekly inventory checksSeal the product bottles or containers with its respective lid/topCommunicate workflow and subjects matters to necessary personnelPack product on production lines in an organized mannerMaintain accurate records and logs as requiredPerform production reporting as required and enter information in the Biotrack systemExamine filled and closed products for potential leakagesLabel all the containers, such as cartridges bottles or drops bottles, including boxesPrint corresponding batch labels, add to the COA and production logComply with all standard operating procedures and requirementsProvide detailed information to adjust the quantity of batches and packaged product in the systemControl the quantity and type of product to be packedPrepare storage trays, examine quantities and barcodesPerforming assigned tasks to company standards including safety and GMP
Must pass a drug screeningMust have reliable transportation and a valid drivers licenseSpecific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focusPer state law, must be at least 21 years of ageMust successfully complete a comprehensive background check
Available to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when requiredShift A: 7:00am
- 1:00pm (Monday -Friday) May be required to work some weekends or Shift B: 1:30pm – 7:30PM (Monday -Friday) May be required to work some weekendsThis position operates in cultivation and manufacturing environments. This role routinely uses cultivation processing equipment and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machinesTravel is not required but may be called upon if company requires so
2 + years of packaging experience or related fieldAble to demonstrate basic technical math skills, basic grammar and technical writing skillsExperience in a fast -paced environmentExperience in packaging and manufacturing or related field is preferredStrong attention to detailEmployee must have basic organizational capabilities, as well as be able to run basic computer tasksMust be a multitasker, with the ability to work on several requests simultaneously without losing focusAbility to easily use computers, and Microsoft office programs including MS Outlook, WordOrganization and initiative, good communications skills, proactive, problem -solving, time management, discretion and confidentiality are essential attributesStrong communication skills and desire to work with other team membersMust be able to work in a fast -paced environmentAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to work independently with minimal directionEffective time -management and ability to multi -taskTeamwork
