This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the retail medical and/or recreational store, working closely with executive management to create and maintain a high-performance retail environment. This leader must be proficient in the utilization of the following systems and resources: compliance, security, human resources, policies and procedures, patient/customer intake, record keeping and sales management, supply chain, POS and inventory management systems, and other data and information systems. The person in this role must maintain exceptional customer service and operational performance goals, while fostering a positive culture and work environment. This individual is responsible for hiring, managing and developing top talent and must motivate and lead that talent to ensure maximum efficiency, regulatory compliance, sales and profitability. Manage All Daily Store Operations:
-Maintain store compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
-Perform all daily opening and closing procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
-Implement and oversee overall compliance and security, reporting and cash management procedures related to opening and closing the store.
-Responsible for facility maintenance and general troubleshooting, as necessary, including proper upkeep of the phone, utility services, technology, maintenance, repairs, stock, and supplies, etc.
-Ensure that the sales floor is appropriately stocked at all times.
-Manage inventory effectively including keeping track of all expiring products and promoting sales as needed.
-Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
-Track all employee and store sales daily to ensure optimal performance and hold regularly scheduled team meetings to address topics at hand, any changes or communications and maintain team morale.
-Produce all required reporting, paperwork, and state tracking system recordings to respective entities (management, city, state, etc.)
-Recruit and hire qualified and effective team members that align with the company’s culture and values.
-Motivate, inspire and coach team members to be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and productive.
-Onboard and train all team members on work procedures, product menu and company policies.
-Maintain written SOPs as changes to policy and/or regulations occur and continually ensure compliance.
-Assist in building a bi-weekly staff schedule that complies with labor policies and store traffic needs.
-Must be accessible and extremely responsive to all team member’s questions, suggestions, and concerns and help resolve any team member conflicts and notify senior management when appropriate.
-Assist State and Local Government Auditors and Law Enforcement with inventory, sales, and compliance audits and report findings to senior management, if applicable.
-Perform regular inventory audits and reconciliations in coordination with senior leadership.
-Ensure all expired/damaged/returned product is recorded, reported and disposed of according to regulations.
-Assist in receiving and ensuring that all wholesale deliveries are compliant, accurate and accounted for.
-Comply with and enforce all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
-Respond in a timely manner to all customer feedback and resolve customer/patient complaints to ensure satisfaction of all customers and patients.
-Utilize customer and team member feedback to readily implement changes to improve the customer experience.
-Execute dispensary selling strategies through collaboration with marketing related to incentives, displays, internal and external promotion.
-Analyze sales reports and communicate with the team to identify sales trends and potential inventory requirements;
-Position has access and control over all areas of the store including restricted access areas.
-Other duties assigned.

-Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper -management of the center.
-Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes up to 25 pounds.

Experience
Qualifications:
-Knowledge of local and state laws and regulations pertaining to medical and/or retail marijuana is required.
-3 years of Cannabis Dispensary Management experience required.
-Must already possess or be able to qualify as a State approved cannabis employee.
-Must successfully pass an extensive background check.
-Must have reliable transportation.
-Working knowledge of chosen POS system such as Leaflogix or METRC is a plus.
-Reporting and Information Management: must have proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
-5 years experience with process management, team problem solving, and inventory control.
-Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends.
-Must be 21 years or older.
-Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
-Google Workspace familiarity preferred.
Education
-Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
