Reporting to the CEO and CFO the Sales Manager will be an active participant in the design and implementation of medical and recreational sales strategies to help build awareness around the Cannabis brand and increase stakeholder engagement. This role will collaborate with various internal teams to conduct market and competitive analyses, design campaigns within our regulatory framework, and develop positioning for our brand. Ultimately, you will help establish our brand in the market in a way that stakeholders can easily identify, understand, and trust. You will be responsible for the outbound sales activities and will deploy the messaging and positioning for products. You'll work alongside the management team to conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate product features are crucial. You will be an expert with buyers, fully understand what they buy, their buying criteria and be able to transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.
Develop, maintain, and improve business relationships with customers in order to support current and future business
Supply all marketing collateral to promote product in store and online
Identify gaps in distribution channels to achieve penetration per SKU in line with benchmarks in similar sized areas
Partner with Marketing teams to showcase products in various marketing campaigns and promotional events
Utilization of all available channels such as e-commerce sites and store locations
Analyze sales data to understand retail space and product placement activity to ensure maximum sales opportunities are achieved
Highly creative and imaginative with strong written and interpersonal skills
Monitor and analyze market trends and studying competitors’ products and services to bring forward market intelligence
Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and create innovative ideas for integrated marketing campaigns
Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and developing the sales tools that support the selling process of your products Management of Advertising campaigns

Collaborate across internal Brand Marketing, Creative, and CRM teams to support integration
Manage Web strategies SEO, SEM & e-commerce site
Familiarity with distribution channels and media marketing campaigns
Plan, organize and control an assigned product line from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit
Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, and the ability to conduct market analysis
Provide assistant with product pricing, packaging and positioning
Excellent communication skills, and exceptionally creativity
Understand customer needs and develop and execute sales/marketing strategies
Negotiate terms with customers
Manage discontinuations of products and advise customers as needed
Accountable for Business to Business sales with assigned retailers/distributors
Develop and implement strategies for growing sales with current customers and acquiring new business opportunities
Manage product life cycles (ex: newest products showcased on all channels, older items phased out through retailer website clearance promotions)
Partner with supply chain team to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained
Participate in new product and market launch efforts
Serve as a primary point of contact on key sales relationships
Conduct needs analyses and align with product offerings
Deploy compelling content in conjunction with digital and content teams, to be shared with key stakeholder audiences
Manage exclusivity of products within various regions to best utilize the portfolio of products for optimum saturation
