The Cultivation Associate follows all direction given by the Field Cultivation Lead, Supervisor or Manager to prepare fields for planting, plant clones in the field, greenhouse transplants and continued care through and including harvest of mature plants according to Curaleaf, Inc. cultivation schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists Cultivation Lead with preparing fields for planting
- Cloning assistance as necessary
- Transplants clone to pots
- Plant potted clones to designated field
- Tends to field and/or greenhouse plants throughout the season including de-fanning, pest control, staking, weeding, etc.
- Assists with harvest of mature plants
- Assists in other areas of the farm as necessary throughout the season
Skill, Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements

- Current Colorado MED Occupational Badge and responsible for renewal
- Must have reliable transportation and consistent, on time attendance
- Ability to set a good example for other team members
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for extended periods of time and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Able to walk on uneven surfaces, kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
- Able to climb and work on a ladder or mechanical lift as necessary for prolonged time.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Able to perform manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with fingers.
- Willingness and ability to wear gloves, mask, eye protection, head protection, ear protection, sun protection, pest determent protection on a consistent basis.
Work Environment
Outdoor and greenhouse working environments in a fast pace and highly regulated industry. In the off season this position would move to indoor cultivation, processing, or cross train in other operational areas.
Additional Requirements
- Current Colorado MED Occupational Badge is required. Employees are responsible for keeping badge current
- Consistent on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts
- Prepared for full 40-hour week working scheduled shifts or weeks over 40 hours during peak times, including longer days and weekends with little advance notice to complete daily and weekly objectives
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations

Compensation ranges between $16-17/hr (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
