Working Environment

The work environment and physical demands characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

The inventory and packaging rooms are kept at 55 and 65-70 degrees (Fahrenheit) respectively to ensure the products are kept at optimal temperature to maintain our quality promise to our customers. You will be exposed to these temperatures for extended periods of time.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel and is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may be required to sit for extended periods.

Role Requirements

Responsibilities

Meticulously weigh, measure, sort, label, and package cannabis products such as concentrates, cartridges, topicals, tinctures, edibles, and more for retail sales

Apply labels in accordance with state regulations and company SOPs including: product information

Accurately measure, weigh, and fill products into containers using provided equipment

Thoroughly clean equipment, hand tools, containers, materials, supplies, and work areas

Assist in the loading, unloading, and inventory of cannabis packaging, supplies and materials

Adhere to production goals and schedule

Effectively communicate any issues or constructive criticism with product packaging directly to the Packaging Manager

Exhibit competency in basic organizational and communication skills Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently meeting or exceeding our high quality packaging standards

Perform other duties as assigned

Help create a positive environment by having a positive attitude and by being self-motivated.

Physical Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older to apply

Ability to stand for a full, eight-hour shift

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to perform a repetitive task with great efficiency over 8 to 10-hour work periods without sacrificing quality

Experience

Cannabis industry experience a plus, but not required

Able to follow direction, detailed instructions, SOPs, and guidelines, as well as take constructive criticism from manager in order to maintain quality standards and production goals

Must be safety oriented and quality focused

Maintains a positive “can do” attitude in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Punctual, adaptable, reliable and honest

Willing to work weekends and holidays

Good written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented and ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities

Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize

Ability to learn and follow state mandated cannabis packaging and labeling regulations
