Role Requirements

Responsibilities

  1. Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance as well as, compliance with the Marijuana Enforcement Division.
  2. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
  3. Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
  4. Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
  5. Run or assist with pour operations.
  6. Handle and fill syringes and cartridges with oil.
  7. Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators
  8. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
  9. Start machines or equipment to begin production processes.
  10. Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
  11. Assemble packaging material.
  12. Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
  13. Track production on schedule boards.
  14. Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
  15. Place finished goods on the designated areas.
  16. Maintain a clean and safe work area - cleans any/all production areas to ensure no cross contamination occurs.
  17. Operating, cleaning and maintenance of equipment
  18. Storing supplies and equipment, disposal of waste according to compliance and guidelines, and keeping laboratory, storerooms and working areas immaculate.
  19. Performing clerical work related to laboratory activities such as word processing, record keeping and filing.
  20. Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
  21. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  1. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. They do not provide chairs for everyone.
  2. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  3. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  4. The position involves sitting, walking and lifting less than 25 pounds throughout the day.

Experience

  1. Knowledge of medical marijuana law and medicinal benefits.
  2. Ability to learn and operate production equipment and machines.
  3. Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
  5. Detail oriented with math skills
  6. Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record
  7. Ability to read and interpret written and oral instructions
  8. Manual hand dexterity
  9. No prior experience in the cannabis industry is required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
