The Data Analyst will be responsible for data production and analysis reporting for various departments and functions for NuVue Pharma. The Analyst will ensure the quality of the data produced and work with department managers to develop reporting tools to aid in forming business decisions.

Seed to Sale organization with indoor grow and 5 dispensaries. Gowing to 6th dispensary by end of the year. Will support management team helping to identify trends and opportunities.

Role Requirements

Responsibilities

• Analyses and manages assigned projects and various departments data analysis needs ensuring it meets the needs of management to effectively run business operations • Serves as the point person for data-related tasks on assigned project. • Collaborates with Controller and department heads to analyze existing systems, ensuring that current needs are met, while planning for necessary future modifications and improvements • Reviews prepared data to ensure it is adequate, accurate, and complies with needs of the department • Manages the development of program data and ensures that established schedules and budgets are met • Fields data-related questions and assists with manager’s needs for programing information • Provides efficient data analysis by monitoring and maintaining efficiency of the organization’s systems in accordance with evolving company needs and technological improvements • Examples are: o Sales trends, i.e., by location, product, seasons, discounts & promotions o Profitability by location, product type and brand o Lab yields & processing o Grow yields (indoor vs. greenhouse) o Quality controls o Labor costs

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Experience

*Experience in the data management field

  • Experience in Cannabis industry desirable

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or finance with concentration in business analytics or related field required
