The Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting brand strategy and the development of brand assets for Acreage's brand portfolio, including The Botanist and Superflux. This role collaborates with state marketing teams, sales, product, operations, technology and finance as well as our agency and design partners to drive growth for our product and retail brands.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Leads day-to-day content creation and management, asset management, trade marketing, website content, and product launch promotion plans
  • Supports the Brand Director in the development and execution of strategic plans across the Acreage brand portfolio
  • Manages several projects simultaneously to support multiple markets in delivering sales and EBITDA goals
  • Assists the Brand Director in translating brand strategy into action plans
  • Leads product launch activations in key markets by managing the creation and deployment of brand assets
  • Tracks and analyzes brand performance
  • Owns key brand toolkit projects including Digital Asset Management and Branded Goods Catalogs to enable local teams to efficiently and consistently deploy brand campaigns across markets
  • Collaborates with sales teams on trade marketing activations with top retail accounts
  • Creates and manage toolkits and assets for wholesale and retail sales
  • Assists in monitoring and optimizing content across channels to ensure content is brand-relevant and aligned with key marketing, retail, and product initiatives (i.e., website, email, social, trade, in-store)
  • Manages day-to-day website content updates
  • Collaborates with local teams to ensure copy and images are on brand
  • Researches and analyzes market trends and competitive landscape using data (Brightfield, BDSA) to gather intel and inform strategic decision making


Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field of study with a strong academic record
  • 2+ years of experience in brand management or marketing with consumer products and/or retail preferred
  • Familiar with marketing analytics
  • Experience conducting market research preferred
  • Experience in a startup environment preferred
  • Copywriting and editing skills are preferred
