The Wholesale Coordinator will work with the Wholesale Manager to build wholesale penetration (with ATCs), deliver wholesale sales and supplement The Botanist dispensary menu.

  • Manages wholesale buying / selling responsibilities to minimally achieve the monthly, quarterly and annual wholesale NR
  • Point-of-contact and liaison between The Botanist NJ and other NJ wholesale vendors and purchasers
  • Sales-driven and target based with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects
  • Will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

Purchasing Responsibilities

  • Developing a strategic wholesale plan and projections to determine what products to purchase wholesale for partnership and growth
  • Proper completion of Wholesale Req Form and creation of Transfer Manifest
  • Completion of internal Chain-Of-Custody paperwork
  • Coordinating with Processing, Inventory and the Marketing teams for arrival of product
  • Coordinating with Administration for timely payment
  • Creating wholesale bulk packages within Seed-to-Sale software

Selling Responsibilities

  • Minimally achieve monthly and quarterly budgets
  • Coordinating and implementing 3 rd party wholesale software (e.g.,. LeafTrade)
  • Coordinating with Processing and Inventory teams on product availability and physical preparation
  • Generating invoices; assisting Administration and Finance to follow up with vendors for consistent timely payment
  • Selling products using persuasive selling and closing strategies
  • Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
  • Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
  • Responsible for communicating the benefits of our products to drive sales

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recordkeeping of all pertinent purchasing and wholesale docs; req form, vendor PO, manifest, invoice,
  • Maintaining a Department-Shared calendar / schedule with all selling/purchasing dates and activity
  • Following up and working with vendors regarding any product issues (either purchased or sold)
  • Responsible for monthly corporate Transfer Report and Wholesale reporting


Basic Qualifications:

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-years of sales or relevant experience;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and factually to drive sales
  • Analytical skills, adaptability, problem solving and
  • Strong work ethic includes being detail oriented, highly organized, professional, enthusiastic and eager to lear
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be willing to travel 70% of the time
  • Proficient written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize, manage time and task for self and others

Additional Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Must have strong communication skills; heavy use of phone and email
  • Must have strong computer and reporting skills; heavy use of MS Excel and Seed-to-Sale software
