Position Description: The Warehouse Associate will be charged with support of Warehousing and Inventory Control functions, performing item maintenance as it pertains to the operating procedures in the warehouse, receiving, and shipping areas. This individual will also facilitate slot placement of items in the warehouse and will continue to update records to identify location of products, components, and supplies for the production areas. Finally, the warehouse Associate will have the task of performing cycle counts when requested and support our safety initiatives by maintaining a clean work environment free of obstacles and debris.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Receive Products in Accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain and process purchase order receiving and reporting short, long, and misshiped merchandise
  • Move products using pallet jack, forklifts, and other warehousing equipment
  • Maintain efficient storage, data, and flow of materials for Production and Customer Deliveries.
  • Upkeep of the current inventory system and report any adjustments.
  • Perform weekly inventory and cycle counts to maintain accurate data.
  • File claims when defective products are received or discovered
  • Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed
  • Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders
  • Pick / Pack orders for shipments, verifying correct quantities per order
  • Coordinate with customer service and logistics departments
  • Perform process/system testing, track performance by area, and identify problems in data integrity, productivity, and efficiency
  • Additional duties as assigned.
