Engager Brands is seeking a Sales Executive to help us expand and grow our brands (HEAVY GRASS and NEON ROOTS) presence in the California retail market. This position will play a key role in new business development/ sales and managing client relationships. The Sales Executive should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant cannabis sales experience and have a thorough understanding of the cannabis industry and community. We are looking for a self-starter who is passionate about Cannabis, music, and branding to join our dynamic team! Under the direction of the Head of Operations, the Sales Executive is responsible for nurturing relationships, expanding brand presence, and accelerating sales of our core brands, Heavy Grass and Neon Roots. The Sales Executive focuses on all account development activities including account strategy, execution, and management. This is not limited to ongoing communication of brand(s) value proposition and value-added programs and services, resource coordination, price management, and achievement of forecasted profitable growth, where applicable

Role Requirements


Build authentic customer relationships with key dispensary accounts in California.
Build meaningful relationships with existing key accounts and with future account prospects. Work cross functionally with marketing to amplify brand presence. Support Distribution team in generating high level go-to-market strategy by utilizing market info, industry trend analysis, and previous experience/ relationships. Assist in planning and development of merchandising, product placement, and visibility strategies.
Attends and executes designated trade shows, cultivates client relationships, and represents Engager Brands in a positive and professional manner Other duties and special projects as assigned.

3+ years of Cannabis Business Development/Sales experience. Experience working cross-functionally, both internally and externally. Proven track record to grow sales revenue, build client relationships, and expand territories. Understanding of market trends, competitors, and competitive pricing Ability to successfully grow key accounts and maintain strong customer satisfaction that align with the company’s goals, and values. Ability to create and manage forecast, budget and sales plan in an expanding market. Ability to organize, prioritize, and thrive in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment that requires flexibility, adaptability and tenacity. Ability to manager sales CRM and an understanding of cannabis data, inventory, and sales platforms.


Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
