Canyon’s Exclusive Sales Representative is responsible for the overall performance of assigned territory. Successful execution of key growth strategies, tactics and action plans as developed by management is required to hit sales targets.
The Sales Representative will gain feedback from our client base, industry trends and market leaders to generate ideas, and leads to keep Canyon on the forefront of the industry. The Sales Representative will report to and strategize with Canyon’s Colorado Sales Manager.
Must have knowledge of MED code, guidelines and ensure Sales team is operating 100% compliantly.
Must possess infectious presence with Canyon employees, customers, and industry professionals.
Must have a direct and sensitive communication style, excellent interpersonal skills. Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills. Must be an ambassador of Canyon with our clients and the public. Must have good hygiene and a professional appearance. Must be willing to step up and work through conflict for the mutual benefit of all involved. Must demonstrate a vast sense of commitment to Canyon. Must be versatile with computers, CRM software, have a strong skill set in Quickbooks, Excel and general accounting practices.
Employ effective account management of assigned territory to grow & support Canyon brand.
Ensure customer satisfaction through quick, prompt, and clear communication and service.
Take lead in managing assigned territory to achieve specific goals.
Ensures product is distributed to best fit our customer’s needs. Communicates well with important information with all of Canyon’s departments with extra focus on shipping and manifest land. Successfully navigate strategies in Canyon’s sales administration process.
Build and maintain Canyon’s strong long-lasting relationships as well as developing new ones. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts for assigned territory. Communicate market trends, sales projections and goals with Sales Manager and Executive Team. Collaborate with brand ambassador team and social marketing teams to promote product to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.
Expand Canyon’s brand presence in Colorado by distributing marketing materials and giving exceptional service. Monitor industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those trends to expand revenue.
Must be able to work independently, establish work priorities, on a regular basis and respond to changing priorities proficiently. Must have reliable transportation, clean driving record and be comfortable transporting cannabis. Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities that permit clear communication effectively on the telephone and in person. Ability to adapt to short, demanding timelines, with changing priorities and business needs. Traveling to all parts of Colorado as well as interfacing with Canyonland.
Two (2) years previous experience in a management role of similar size and scope to Canyon required. Valid Key level badge from MED required. Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills with mastery of Excel and standard office equipment required. Demonstrated high level of organizational, interpersonal, and oral communication skills required. Ability to communicate effectively, collaboratively, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business, related field or equivalent in experience.
