Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials
Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors
Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs
Implement and execute sales policies and practices
Attend trade shows and major account meetings to ensure brand identity is conveyed properly
Consistently establish new product distribution channels to increase product sales
Build, develop and manage sales team capable of carrying out superior sales and service initiatives
Work cross functionally to develop brand positioning, creative strategy and key campaigns that will significantly drive the evolution of the brand, the brand voice and brand awareness within the Cannabis industry from Sales perspective
Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts
Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results
Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development
Coordinate the management of all accounts
Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions
Direct and oversee marketing to identify and develop new customers for products
Implement approved distribution strategies
Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets
Present market trends and opportunities for current product while assisting in the strategic development of product lines
Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis
Establish and implement short and long range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
Project sales volume and profit for existing and new products
Establish sales objectives, forecast and develop annual sales quotas for regions and territories
Establish and adjust sales prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
Collaborate with marketing on merchandising and product strategies for increased sales through all channels
Develop and implement long term revenue goals for overall company budget
Develop an annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives
Provide strategic insight and guidance to leadership

Experience
5-7 years of sales management experience, with a proven track record leading successful sales teams while meeting or exceeding set goals
Cannabis industry experience required
Ability to set budgets, manage expenses and forecast accurately
Keen market knowledge of compliance and regulation
Established cannabis relationships
Experience in planning and executing marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts
Ability to develop new business in the Cannabis industry
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes
CRM experience required
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
Excellent Excel/Powerpoint/Word/Google Suite skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, start up environment
Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
Excellent time management skills
Marketing and PL experience a plus
Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
Excellent written communication, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Education
