Summary

Job description Outside Sales Representative-Western Slope (Loveland Pass to Grand Junction to Durango to Pagosa Springs (Crested Butte/Gunnison) Summary The Wholesale Sales Representative (WSR) is primarily responsible for contacting dispensary locations; building relationships for the sales of cannabis infused edibles and providing world class customer service. The WSR must ensure they operate with 100% compliance with company & state policies and procedures. This is a high-visibility position requiring extensive travel with in Colorado. Expect to be overnight at least 2-3 nights per Week (average). Company does reimburse all travel expenses. You will have frequent engagement and regular communication with collective owners, buyers, staff influencers, and patients. Knowledge of the Company Product portfolio, the ability to explain the features and benefits of each item/product line, and knowledge of competing brands is essential to operating successfully within this role.

Work Requirements

-Must be able to work in a retail, manufacturing, or production facilities with moderate to loud noise level and changing working conditions. May require use of safety equipment and/or personal protective equipment, as needed -Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver’s license Valid CO driver’s license with a clean driving record and valid insurance -Must be able to acquire MED Badge ($100 Fee to State of CO) prior to beginning employment

Travel Requirements

  • Requires Colorado statewide travel with 2-3 overnight stays per week (average)
  • Must own a reliable, personal vehicle (car) for transportation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Responsible for maintaining relationships and providing world class customer service to wholesale clients by establishing weekly or bi-weekly dispensary visits -Develop daily and weekly sales plans to ensure success -Plan and execute in-store Vendor Day/Pop-ups to highlight brands -Schedule and execute dispensary staff product knowledge training -Act as the primary point of contact for wholesale sales inquiries from referrals, email, cold calls, or other sources -Create quarterly forecasts by analyzing sales trends from Sales Reports and analytics to accommodate demand increases during holidays and special events -Achieve sales goals as directed by Executive Officers and the Director of Wholesale -Work occasional weekend, evenings, and special event hours as needed -Adhere to company mission statement and core values and maintain high ethical standards and professionalism in all business interactions -Maintain the integrity of all confidential information -Understand the complexity of compliance requirements governing our businesses, including the following types of regulatory agencies: Marijuana -Enforcement Division, Fire Department, City Zoning and Planning, Colorado

Department of Public Health and Environment

-Work with the Compliance team, Managers, and Leads to correct quality assurance/compliance concerns -Read and understand all department-specific Standard Operating Procedures and documentation -All other tasks and job duties as assigned

Experience

Required Skills & Experience

-2 years’ high-volume sales in a commission or incentive-based sales environment -Demonstrable computer software skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and other web-based programs -Excellent influential, collaborative, and relationship building skills -Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills -High-level attention to detail, administrative skills, and highly organized

Preferred Skills & Experience

-Experience with consumer-packaged goods sales -Experience with sales, retail, wholesale, and/or account management -Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with a shifting workload in a fast-paced environment -Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities -Cannabis industry experience preferred, either retail or wholesale
