Develop system configuration documentation for the IT infrastructure
Define a future vision for the IT infrastructure that closely aligns with the company’s future direction
Define, measure, and deliver against Service Level Agreements and Key Process Indicators to ensure that IT services are delivered in a predictable and reliable manner
Manage a combination of direct reports and key vendors to accomplish objectives
Create and manage repeatable processes to manage the IT infrastructure
Regularly ensure that the IT infrastructure adequately supports business requirements and stays in close communication with key business stakeholders
Develop and manage areas of the budget specific to the IT infrastructure
Manage a model that provides 24 X 7 support for the IT infrastructure
Create a multi-year plan to achieve the IT infrastructure vision
Manage projects within negotiated budget and time constraints
The administration and management of servers (virtual and physical), disk storage, core network (routers, switches, firewalls), wide area network, site-local area networks, wireless networks voice, video and data communications, external (cloud-based) data centers, information security, hardware-software asset management, software distribution and patching, email, SharePoint and other Office 365 components, hardware lifecycle, Infrastructure and ticket tracking tools, active directory, disaster recovery backup/recovery, integration between corporate network and process control environment, system architecture and standards, change management process, infrastructure vendors and contracts, training on proper use of IT infrastructure, and capacity planning
Provide input into the IT strategy and how the company can leverage technology to improve business processes and create value

Occasional evening and weekend work to meet project deadlines
Participation in on-call rotation for after-hours support if needed
Experience
Strong sense of ownership for areas of responsibility
Experience managing a variety of third-party vendors
Ability to work with stakeholders and work toward a common goal in a constructive and collaborative manner
Experience with the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions
Exposure to cloud-delivered infrastructure services
Direct experience defining and managing an Information Security program
Experience building an IT infrastructure that meets the company’s needs in a cost-effective manner
Results-oriented; highly self-motivated and directed
Exposure to project management techniques (e.g. PMI) and IT service delivery frameworks (e.g. ITIL,)
10 years of IT infrastructure experience and familiarity with manufacturing and cultivation/farming preferred
Ability to think and act like a businessperson first and a technology leader second
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
Proven track record of delivering against commitments and leading high performing teams
Ability to understand the company’s goals and apply this understanding to effectively prioritize incoming work

Education
Four-year college diploma or university degree in business, computer systems, or computer science
