Role Requirements


Establish, cultivate and maintain business relationships with prospective and current customers in the assigned territory to generate new and repeat-business through Cannabis dispensaries and wholesale outlets in California.

Collaborate closely with Management and other departments to track and report progress and customer acquisition.

Monitor the progress of leading Cannabis brands and other key competitors. Provide direct market feedback and analysis of industry and customer trends to Management and the operations team. This should include market sizing and segmentation.

Build a healthy book of business with the realistic goal of hitting your sales targets in your first year.

Increase brand/product awareness through a variety of means including but not limited to, Social Media, Promotional events, Networking and Trade Show attendance.

Conduct both in-person prospect visits and inside sales with a special focus on growing your particular sales territory.

Three years of outside sales experience in the Cannabis Industry. Inside sales experience is a plus.

Solid understanding of key Cannabis Brands in your sales territory plus direct and good connections with buyers in the industry.

Can work autonomously and remotely. Willing to take conference calls while on the field.

Willing to travel in and out of assigned territory as required.

Exceptional people and organizational skills.

Strong technical acumen with ability to navigate company CRM system and various other internal technologies and business tools.

Clear understanding of the Cannabis space and industry trends. Basic understanding of branding, market positioning and packaging design, etc. is a plus.

Active and proficient on a variety of social media platforms.

Good team player and can work with all types of personalities.
