The ideal Sales Account Manager will play a critical role in our brand’s expansion as we quickly develop new markets and territories. This role will bring impactful growth with the opportunity to shape how legalized cannabis business is founded and shaped in the United States and beyond. Through consistent relationship-building and tenacity, this Sales Account Manager will help grow our brand affinity and performance. This is a full-time, remote position with regular field visits and domestic travel required. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Role Requirements


• Represents and sells the full Deep Desert portfolio of brands and products. • Cultivates key relationships with market decision makers and influencers. • Ensure the Deep Desert product is well merchandised in store. • Tracks and manages account collection communication to support timely payments. • Directly manages Brand Ambassador activities to support team KPI success. • Perform weekly sales calls, product demos, staff trainings, and staff check-ins to ensure Deep Desert is top of mind within key accounts. • Log all sales activities and outreach in CRM system. • Meets or exceeds weekly/monthly/annual KPIs. • Provide real-time feedback with weekly sales summary and/or daily reports. • Owns the sales and marketing plans through the B2B retail channel.

Physical Requirements

Must live in the San Francisco Bay Area.


• Basic knowledge of the cannabis market, products and categories. • Familiar with state DCC compliance for retail sales, distribution and/or willing to be. • Experience within cannabis is a plus; passion for cannabis infused beverages and the cannabis industry is a big plus. • Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment, agreement, and commitments across internal and external key stakeholders • Strong analytical skills: ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a tactical plan. • Excellent communication skills with ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely. • Ability to work independently and solve problems by leveraging multiple function support. • Strong presentation skills, ability to present at all levels within customer and internal organization. • Extremely organized, able to work independently, with a keen ability to multitask and prioritize with urgency within a fast-paced environment with often competing priorities. • Action-oriented, with strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving capabilities. • Comfortable with and energized by the ambiguity and chaotic pace that accompanies innovation. • High energy, with a positive, curious, and open mind. • Strong sales competency with a focus on results, influence, accountability, collaboration, quality, cost efficiency, and timelines. • Extremely organized, able to work independently, with a keen ability to multitask and prioritize with urgency within a fast-paced environment with often competing priorities. • Familiar with G-Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems like Salesforce, Outfield, Oracle, etc.
