What You Will Do
Work closely with Product Managers to identify the problems, business goals, and user outcomes Collaborate closely with the development teams throughout the lifecycle of the product/feature you are working on Gather requirements and create user-centered experience flows for the Vangst platform, including the collaboration with other teams at Vangst Partner with User Researchers to determine and execute the ideal research methodology to evaluate your designs Articulate design decisions with product stakeholders by providing design rationale and walkthroughs of the process Design usable, useful and delightful flows & interactions Give and solicit feedback from designers and cross-disciplinary partners Take charge of product initiatives under the mentorship of design leadership
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times. Communicating with others to exchange information. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned. Experience
2-5 years of experience with product design Strong visual design skills Highly conceptual thinking in visual and interaction design A strong interest in the latest trends in design and technology with a focus on the future of computing and experience platforms A passion for innovation and problem solving A portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of UX process, consistency, design systems, and attention to detail Have contributed as a design partner and a strong collaborator with product managers and engineers Practical experience working with User Researchers (or conducting User Research yourself) and utilizing the results of that research to shape your designs Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Complete focus on users and solving for their needs and wants. You put users first and have experience driving impact from insights. Have shipped digital products Have cross-platform design experiences (Web, android, iOS, emails) Portfolio a plus!
