Summary

CannaVer Brands is currently expanding our Sales Team. In support of our expansion efforts, we are searching for an Organizational Sales Manager in the Metro Saint Louis and/or Metro Kansas City Areas. The ideal candidate will manage components of an existing sales strategy for two of CannaVer’s existing brands, Osage Kitchen and Crossroads Cannabis. In addition, there will be opportunities to support CannaVer’s premium brand, Blue Note Labs. Direct, refine, and contribute to all organizational sales strategies across the State of Missouri. • Communicate directly with DHSS licensed retail, manufacturing, and cultivatiomn facilities, supporting organizational product and wholesale efforts. • Grow and expand existing organizational sales portfolio, expanding organizational market share. • Manage existing and future brands, as well as brand building activities. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in ongoing product education and professional development opportunities including industry trade events.

Working Environment

Must currently reside in the state of Missouri. Mix of on site work at the facility, and travel to customers. Remote work is negotiable but candidate must be local to St Louis area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and conduct of budtender education, develop relationships with budtenders to make them our biggest brand supporters. • Provide feedback from the market to the company to help identify trends and opportunities in the marketplace to assist with new product launches. • Identify and target potential dispensaries for introduction to our brands and product lines, execute sales calls, visit dispensaries, serve as a professional and competent contact for the company, our customers, and patients. • Place orders in MJ Platform, log all customer touches on LeafLink on a daily basis, submit bi- weekly reimbursements and mileage reports. • Manage scheduling and execution of dispensary educational events and communicating details to staff members. • Producing weekly sales reports and providing customer feedback on weekly meetings. • Attend weekly operational meetings and provide sales perspective into company decision and discussions. • Participate in other marketing and sales duties when needed.

Experience

Previous cannabis knowledge or experience preferred, but not required • Professional and well-spoken individual with a sales-oriented demeanor, good prospecting, presentation, and client relationship skills • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage time efficiently in a non-supervised environment. • Strong interpersonal skills, reliable and trustworthy • Minimum 3+ years of sales experience. • Self-starting, accountable, and goal oriented. • Able to meet and exceed sales goals. • Able to adapt to a rapidly changing industry. • Willing to spend up to 50% of workdays traveling to ensure coverage of territory. • Able to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends representing the organization as needed. • Must comply with all legal regulations for employment in the cannabis industry. • Must have reliable transportation.
