In Grown Farms, a subsidiary of Acreage, is looking to hire an enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to be the face and voice of our brand for the Central & Southern Illinois Region. As a successful candidate, you will be involved in increasing brand awareness and sales by promoting our products through various media channels. You will work closely with our sales and marketing division to achieve its marketing goals and objectives, such as communicating the value of our products to customers, tracking customer feedback, and representing the brand at launches and events.

During your down time and in between events you will work with the Supply Chain department within our Cultivation Center supporting their job functions.

What you do:

  • Familiarizing yourself with the company's mission, vision, and goals.
  • Working closely with sales and marketing staff to facilitate and execute marketing and outreach events (generally 1-3 per day involving setting up tables, setting up displays, handing out flyers and educational materials, etc.)
  • Educating customers, retailers, and distributors about our products.
  • Creating website and social media content in order to drive brand awareness and attract new customers.
  • Building rapport with customers and vendors.
  • Monitoring customer feedback and escalating complaints to the marketing department.
  • Tracking customer preferences, metrics, and media campaigns.
  • Representing the company at product launches, events, and trade shows.
  • Brainstorming ideas and participating in training and workshops.
  • Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.


Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a customer service environment.
  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Marketing or related field.
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to travel using company vehicle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a distance of 100 feet
  • This position requires occasional extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects
  • Must pass background check (state mandated)
