Summary

The Zoë Therapeutics Farm Specialist (FS) Team plans, organizes and implements all aspects of the farm operations and special projects. Usually, but not necessarily, FS prospects have pre-established skills and experience in electrical, irrigation, mechanical, HVAC, construction, or other trades. Effective and efficient FS functionality is of primary importance to the success of Zoë Therapeutics.  This essential position supports all departments of the farm including Cultivation and Production. The FS Team conducts maintenance on all equipment, plans/prices special building projects, maintains grounds and supports speciality trade jobs with 3rd party contractors.

Role Requirements

Responsibilities

Be versed in all aspects of farm maintenance that maintenance, production and workflow.

Follow (and offer suggestions for improvements for) SOP’s, systems, maintenance schedules, and processes. Stay focused on consistency.

Accomplish daily, weekly, and yearly routines consistently.

Work with a team mentality and follow direction from FSM, OM, and other members of the management team.

Learn terminology across departments that you will support.

Communicate and oversee labor forces or 3rd parties groups to accomplish projects.

Ensure and anticipate that sufficient resources and materials are available to successfully complete each task and reach goals BEFORE projects begin.

Assist with IPM protocols treating diseases and fertigation of plants under care/supervision of the Cultivation management team.

Care for plants within Cultivation spaces, as assigned, including weekend and holiday coverage.

Follow operational SOPs, policies, and procedures to maintain a legal, safe, effective, and successful working environment.

Assist in training new/junior FS on SOPs and protocols to ensure excellent quality assessment and quality control outcomes.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 50lbs and perform intensive manual labor.
