Summary: Revolution Cannabis is hiring an Analytical Chemistry Technician (ACT) to aid in the maturation of our QA/QC processes. This includes (but is not limited to) preparing samples and keeping detailed records. The ACT will strictly comply with general regulatory requirements and those specific to the cannabis industry. This is a newly created position due to Revolution’s aggressive growth and expansion. We are a quality innovator and leader in this rapidly emerging market. Role Requirements


Perform all tasks in adherence to current guidelines (SOP/GMP/GLP) Ensure all processes and procedures are compliant with up-to-date state regulations Stringently observe all safety practices and guidelines Immediately report and document all planned and unplanned SOP deviations
Collect and prepare samples at all production points (cultivation/manufacturing/packaging) Use HPLC and GC-MS to find terpene/potency levels and compare data to baselines/standards Act as a front-line QC/QA gatekeeper regarding all product impurities and quality deviations Keep detailed and accurate material chain of custody records of all specimens Log accurate/detailed test results and conduct database maintenance Follow all rules of conduct regarding proprietary information and processes Communicate findings to management and interested parties Participate in daily lab set up and shut down process

Physical Requirements

Physical Requirements: Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions Must be able to speak at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise) Work Schedule: 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays. Occasional travel to facilities, vendors, etc.


Minimum Education: B.S. in Chemistry or Biology is preferred but will consider relevant experience and other factors Minimum Experience: Required or Preferred Skills, Abilities, Licensures and Certifications: 1-3 years of performing analysis in a lab is required 1-3 years of instrumental analysis of magnitudes and concentrations is strongly preferred Exposure to mass separation technology (HPLC/GC-MS) is strongly preferred Cannabis industry experience/exposure/knowledge is ideal Prior adherence to SOPs/GMPs/GLPs 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment 1-3 years in a heavily regulated industry
