Position We are looking for a forward-thinking, deadline-driven and detail-oriented Director of Marketing. In this position, you will help to strategize, implement, track and measure our marketing content and campaigns. You will be managing a team of marketers and content developers and will report to the executive team. Our ideal candidate will be based in the Denver area. Pay will be commensurate with your experience and will be competitive.

Job Overview
-Evaluate and develop marketing strategy and marketing plan across all brands
-Develop and manage the marketing budget
-Plan, direct, and coordinate marketing efforts for all brands
-Communicate the marketing plan and keep management updated monthly on change and progress
-Assist in competitor research for competing brands, understanding our market positioning, value proposition and pricing strategy in relation to the competition
-Identify potential customers/segments creating communication materials to reach important segments for B2B and B2C
-Develop and manage monthly marketing and promotional calendar, coordinating, engagement with B2C & B2B customers
-Develop paid advertising strategy and content for execution on CBD channels
-Develop wholesale and retail promotions with Sales Team and Retail/Distro partners
-Develop and implement high-level strategies for digital content backed by market research and data analysis
-Establish comprehensive reporting and dashboards of all digital marketing channels to track KPI performance and communicate analysis on a weekly, monthly & seasonal basis
-Develop email marketing strategy, messaging and templates
-Oversee and direct work of team members to create content for social media and other platforms
-Develop strategies and manage SEO efforts that drive customers to our websites and make improvements to the design, UX and content of our websites
-Help manage trade shows, conferences, and local events
-Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms
-Research and evaluate new & emerging digital marketing channels and identify opportunities for growth
-Develop a clear understanding of our customers and determine opportunities for consistent segmentation, targeting and measurement
-Work in tandem with Business Development on collaborative opportunities
-Manage Ambassador/Affiliate programs and outreach
-Manage and develop strategies alongside PR firm
-Develop strategies for eCommerce growth across multiple platforms
-Research and develop go-to-market strategies for expansion into other countries/region globally
-Have a strong understanding of merchandising from implementation to strategy
-Be able to create and implement a unified marketing strategy with distributors and retailers
-Manage all aspects of B2B marketing operations
-Be experienced in coordinating and implementing surveys and other customer feedback tools

Experience
Qualifications
-5-7 years of experience in a similar performance-based marketing role
-3+ years of experience leading a small team
-Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
-Experience and understanding of the cannabis industry a plus
-Knowledge of web design principles a plus
-A strong understanding of eCommerce platforms a plus
-Experience with global eCommerce and distribution a plus
-Event experience a plus
-Ability to work with and manage outside agencies
-Excellent leadership skills
-Highly analytical mindset who enjoys organizing and synthesizing data
-Ability to prioritize, manage several projects at once and work under pressure
-Works well on a team and communicates effectively with a variety of stakeholders
