Are you looking for the ideal outside sales opportunity supporting commercial cannabis and CEA customers? If you have a passion for plants and all things related to horticulture and agriculture than BFG Supply is interested in hearing from you. We are an industry leader in wholesale CEA, cannabis, greenhouse/nursery/lawn and garden distribution with 14 warehouses serving the contiguous 48 states. We are looking for experienced, positive, outgoing outside sales reps to help commercial cannabis and CEA related businesses succeed. Based from home, with some overnight travel required, our successful Sales Representative develops relationships and partners with their customers to understand their business needs and goals. They are motivational, have the desire to succeed, pay close attention to detail and are excellent in the area of follow-up. They have excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to assist their customers in selecting the right product offerings to help their businesses succeed and grow! RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Job Functions:
• Manage, develop, and grow your assigned sales territory. • Build and develop on going relationships with your customers; understand and stay current on their needs. • Develop BFG product knowledge in order to add value by finding matches of BFG goods and service that support the needs of your costumers. • Function as a profitability consultant to your customers by offering suggestions to reduce costs and /or increase margin potential, growing space, etc. • Help your customers keep up to date on territorial trends and market niches. • Assist customers by keeping up to date on current and upcoming vendor programs and communicating this information to your customers. • Improve your product knowledge by attending trials and meetings. • Provide relevant sales support to the Marketing team. • Excellent and effective follow-up contact with customers to ensure satisfaction. • Other projects as assigned.
Education credentials, and experience:
• Industry-related experience • 2+ years of proven sales experience preferred but not necessary
