Summary

We are seeking a mechanic, who will be responsible for as needed repairs and maintaining proper operational functionality of our production machinery while remaining in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role will also coordinate with our machinist(s) on an as-needed basis to problem solve broken equipment repairs. Knowledge of and compliance with state and federal occupational safety and hazard regulations for the maintenance, repair, and operation of buildings, grow rooms, irrigation systems and grounds of facilities are a plus.

Role Requirements

Responsibilities

-Ability to tear down and reassemble machines properly, efficiently

-Install and assemble new machines and equipment

-Maintain preventative maintenance schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery

-Diagnose and repair machine failures

-Install replacement parts

-Coordinate with machinist in order to problem solve broken equipment, ensuring proper design of fabricated replacement parts

-Proper use of power tools and different hand tools as needed to complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders

-Maintain demonstrated knowledge of, and adherence to industry best practices, SOP’s, LOTO, and other safety guidelines

-Log performed maintenance work through either paper documentation or a CMMS

-Assist maintenance team in the facility when no mechanic work is needed
