The company has been at the cutting edge of automating pest and disease solutions for Cannabis producers in Israel, and is now expanding its service to N America. Every cannabis producer battles with both pests and disease outbreaks, and regulation demands these issues are dealt with expeditiously. The company’s solution saves these producers both significant time and money by way of early detection, employing an easy-to-install and use machine vision (camera-based) artificial intelligence system. The Head of Sales candidate will report to the company Chief Revenue Officer, who’ll work hand-in-hand to assist the candidate in achieving success in their role, hitting high commission payouts by selling into grower facilities across N America, and later other countries around the world.
Managing the entire sales cycle will be the primary responsibility, while demonstrating the flexibility to suggest changes as/when necessary to the CRO. S/He will collaborate with various company professionals; so it’s essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. They should also envision expanding their role to that of mentor/coach as/when new salespersons are hired within different global territories. The Head of Sales will further work hand-in-hand with Marketing and Product Owners to use customer feedback to improve product features, ultimately making the service better. They will be the face of our company when engaging at tradeshows and in front of the largest producers in the industry, to the mid size, starting in N America but likely expanding to other places around the world.

The successful candidate will have proven work experience in sales in the cannabis Industry selling to growers, labor managers, pest and disease managers, or facility owners; proven connections within the cannabis Industry to build a client base; and hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Excel.
An In-depth understanding of the sales administration process and excellent interpersonal and team management skills are also required. Strong analytical, organizational, and numerical skills, combined with a problem-solving attitude will be viewed as core assets.
Street smarts are as valuable as a masters degree; start-up experience is also seen as a bonus.
