Role Requirements

Responsibilities

  1. Create and manage LOTO procedures
  2. Monitor, maintain and manage progress of adding LOTO procedures to assets that already exist.
  3. Ensure LOTO procedures are completed according to company templates.
  4. Updates the LOTO procedures as needed.
  5. Coordination and integration of LOTO procedures with Maintenance and Production departments
  6. Assist and coordinate LOTO procedure walks.

Physical Requirements

  1. Able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  2. Able to lift up to 35 lbs. without accommodation.

Experience

  1. Previous manufacturing experience is an asset
  2. Knowledge in Health and Safety statistical reporting is an asset
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Problem solving skills
  6. Ability to effectively communicate with different levels of a business from engineers to field employees
  7. Detail-oriented and able to work under minimal supervision
  8. Strong focus on HSE continuous improvement
  9. Health & Safety: 1 year (Preferred)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. #GIGslife
