We are looking for a highly motivated, engaged, committed individual with relevant Human Resources experience that has an interest to work in the emerging cannabis industry. The primary objective of this field-based position is to provide support for people services, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, terminations, employee relations, and people services delivery. In addition, the Field Human Resources Manager is responsible for implementing and iterating people-facing policies and procedures and serving as a consultant to location and regional leaders to ensure people programs foster a productive and fun work environment that drives the business forward. This is a “hands-on” position that requires extensive interaction and visibility within all levels of the organization. This role must consistently demonstrate the following competencies: customer-focused, flexibility, excellent problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communications, excellent collaboration and relationship skills, ability to work with minimal to no oversight, HR functional/technical skills, action orientation, ability to work with ambiguity, and organized with an attention to detail.

Working Environment

This is an in-office, professional business environment.

Working hours are Monday thru Friday, ~8:30 am - 5:00 pm MST

Must have the capability to travel regularly across the state of Colorado to Schwazze locations

Role Requirements


Partner with leadership to identify and support solutions for people matters, including recruiting, onboarding, compensation setting, employee development, investigations, leave administration, and succession planning.

Assist field leadership in developing scheduling strategy that supports the business needs.

Oversee the hiring process and onboarding of all field hires, including facilitation of company orientation.

Guide field leaders to hire and onboard talent with the right skills and experience to consistently deliver on Schwazze standards of excellence for our field locations.

Develop and coach field leadership to elevate the skills and performance of their teams.

Lead an open-door culture where employees feel heard and issues are quickly resolved.

Consistently maintain a true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the pulse of employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.

Assist in addressing store needs (emergency, regulatory and compliance, etc.) as needed.

Assist in other human resources and people matters as needed.

Bachelor’s degree or HR equivalent years of human resources generalist responsibilities

Prior experience supporting multiple locations as the HR focal point

Experience administering HR policies and procedures

PHR certification preferred
