Who We’re Looking For: We are looking for an Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper to support Vangst’s accounting and administrative functions.
Your success in this role will require the ability to work at a granular level and be hands-on with the work (you’re a doer first), while also being able to step back, digest the insights, and report to leadership to inform decision-making. You will be required to create strong relationships with colleagues to help them understand the financial impact of new products, initiatives, and all other business decisions.
You must thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous work environment and be internally motivated. Ideally you will have experience working in the finance and accounting functions of a relatively small, VC-backed, high-growth organization.
The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to product clear financial reports.

What You Will Do
Track expenses, budget, commission, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of company Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly) Monitor accounts payable and receivable Approve and record expense report Collections and customer service

Experience
Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field 7-10 years of experience in related field Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and QuickBooks (on-line) Strong organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented Staffing agency and start-up experience is highly preferred
