Emerging leader in the hospitality and cannabis industries seeks an experienced Business Data Analyst to join our team in Michigan. The Analyst will help the company optimize sales and operational efforts through the compiling, analyzing, and reporting of company data. The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for driving revenue growth and supporting the development of our sales teams through both sales and executional data analysis and reporting. We are looking for a motivated Business Data Analyst with strong technical skills and business acumen to help turn millions of potential data points into actionable insights that can drive product improvements, make our customer acquisition more efficient, improve our customer retention rates, and drive operating efficiencies. In this role you also will conduct the administration of reports and tracking performance of Sales Incentive Programs, Retail Promotions, Brand/Strategic Partnerships, and the planning of other data and sales related projects within the company, including our business planning.

• Collaborate with teams across the Company to set internal benchmarks, develop critical metrics for new initiatives, and recommend continuous improvement strategies using data-driven insights. • Compile, analyze, and report sales data over time to forecast sales trends, including measuring performance on KPI’s. • Design, develop, test, automate, and launch new dashboards and reporting solutions across the company. • Monitor and analyze competitive activity, customer, and market trends across all Business Intelligence Tools. • Partner with the Sales and Retail, Marketing, IT and Finance departments. • Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity of the sales team. • Provide actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams. • Suggest adjustments and revisions to promotional strategies to improve sales and profitability. • Analyze inventory data. • Lead the implementation of new data analysis methodologies. • Review customer files to ensure integrity of data collection and utilization. • Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies. • Project management responsibilities include delivering projects on time within budget and scope.

• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply • 2-4 years’ experience in a sales and marketing analytical positions • Experience in retail and/or consumer products preferred • Degree in business administration, marketing, finance, data science or statistics • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Capacity to work beyond your comfort level and desire to learn new skills • Strong data analytic and report skills and experience • Resourceful, receptive, and adaptable to changing environments • Has great prioritization and organizational skills • Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and also quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas. • A strong candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and must be a self-starter who is highly organized with great attention to detail • Strong interpersonal skills and consistent follow through on assigned tasks • Has strong teamwork skills to work with several cross functional partners • Have no ego.
