Summary:
Reporting to the SVP Corporate Controller, Curaleaf's Director of Treasury will be responsible for all operations aspects of treasury for the Company. Key responsibilities include day to day treasury management, maintaining strong controls over cash, forecasting and reporting, mitigating foreign currency risk and managing the Company's investments and liquidity needs. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of managing cross-functional tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment and must be able to wear multiple hats.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform treasury operations activities such as managing global fund flows, setting daily cash positions and approving payments
- Develop and maintain daily cash flow forecast for the Company
- Serves as the online banking system administrator for our numerous banks.
- Establish and maintain strong banking relationships
- Assist with liquidity by reviewing and executing on lines of credit and other potential fund raising activities
- Optimize and mitigate the risk of the Company's foreign currency exposures
- Develop and execute on strategies to enhance the Company's working capital efficiency
- Review and optimize banking structure for efficiencies and cost savings
- Develop treasury policies
- Reviews finance operations' processes to identify, recommend and execute opportunities for improvement. Works with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of any changes
- Maintain Treasury control procedures to ensure regulatory and SOX compliance
- Support the quarterly and annual financial statement audit process
- Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Education Required: BS in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a publicly traded company
- Extensive knowledge of treasury operations and capital markets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
- Experience with SOX internal controls is preferred
- Enjoys working in a start-up, fast-paced environment
