Job Summary:
The RE Zoning and Permitting Analyst role will support Real Estate & Construction projects throughout the country to help our growth initiatives and operational portfolio. They will work through local entitlements and related permitting on behalf of the company working in tandem with the cross functional departments of real estate and construction. This is a remote role with some travel, preference would be for Northeast or Midwest Region.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for keeping track of database and maintenance of all secured entitlements for operating assets and new acquisitions across the country
- This role will manage and track important entitlement projects and help oversee an eventual turnover to construction
- Liaising and facilitating with construction team and legal teams for 3 rd party approvals
- Submit zoning/entitlement applications and working with municipal entities
- Assist Real Estate team early on in due diligence process
Experience and Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of Real Estate experience or Paralegal experience
- 2+ years of zoning strategy and land use experience
- Must be self-motivated with proficient attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at once
- Must be willing to travel based upon company needs
